If you see the message "You've reached your seat limit" when trying to add a new teammate, it means all the seats included in your current plan are in use. You need to add more seats before you can invite additional team members.
Note for Enterprise plans: If you are on an Enterprise plan, adding seats is not self-serve. Please contact us through the Messenger and our team will handle it for you directly.
Where you'll see this message
You may see this in two places:
In Org Settings > Users next to the seat count: "Active seats used: 60/60 β Add more seats"
As a pop-up when trying to add a new user: "Your plan includes X seats and they're all in use. Add more seats to invite additional team members."
How to add more seats
Click Add more seats in the message, or go directly to Org Settings > Billing
Click Manage seats in the top right corner
Enter the total number of seats you want. The minimum is your current number of active users
Click Update seats
You will see a confirmation: "Seats updated successfully." You can now go ahead and invite your new teammate.
How added seats are charged
When you add seats mid-cycle on a monthly plan, the additional seats are prorated for the remaining days in the billing period and charged immediately. You will see the exact amount before confirming.
